Columbia Figure Skating Club is proud to host American Ice Theatre Seminar
The seminar will include 6 Ways of the Spine™ body awareness, skating skills (edges, power), performance and expression techniques, storytelling, tools for improvisation, and choreography skills.
This is a one-day (6 hours of on and off-ice training) that includes Adult Track (ages 18+) and a Youth Track (ages 8+). The seminar is recommended for skaters with Freeskate 1+(forward and backward crossovers, 3-turns, c-steps (mohawks), 1-foot spins).
The program is built on trust and exploration on ice. There will be no audience during the seminar, except for the final on-ice session of the grand finale.
All sessions will be led by AIT Faculty Members:
Kate McSwain – Co-Executive Director of AIT
Jacqueline Benson – Co-Vice President of AIT
Cameron Claire – AIT Minneapolis Assistant Director
Private Lessons with Kate McSwain and Cameron Claire will be on Monday morning, September 1. Sign-up after registering for the seminar!
